Why go to George?

George is the only town on the Garden Route that lies slightly inland, standing approximately halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Even though this is the major business centre of the Garden Route it relaxes quietly in the shadow of the Outeniqua Mountains. Nearby are 4 distinguished golf courses and beautiful beaches.
